Well, Pompeii turned out to be better than I expected! No awards for acting or story, although it might get a nod next year for technical or cinematography or something like that. Im not sure that it is accurate but it was fun and spectacular. It was sort of like Titanic in that there was a love story in the middle of the whole thing. The eruption did not occur until later in the movie so it dealt with relationships and justice/revenge. I liked it. Id give it a B-.
