Well Stevia is not a medicine(diabetic medicine), even though it does helps in lowering down sugar level in the blood. For serious diabetic cases, food intake shud b monitored cos high carbohydrate in food will transform to sugar in our body. Stevia is to b used wit the idea of enjoying sweetness minus the ill effects which comes with table sugar(fructose). Another thing, never stop taking medicines prescribed by Dr. Reduce/stop if the Dr instructs to do so. Pls dont misunderstand about Stevia, how it functions and the purpose consuming it.
