Well Sundays walk was interesting...walk itself was fine, apart from one short shower of hail and no letterboxes found!..it was the gathering of the participants that proved problematic...what with people getting lost, no signal in the car park which meant a climb to the windy top of the nearest spoil heap for yours truly and a car battery dying on us! Plus the fact we couldnt get in our first choice of venue for our evening meal! In the end all got sorted and we ended up having a nice meal in The Cornwood Inn where we were welcomed by a very pleasant barmaid...that always makes things better!
