Well The Super Bowl has come and gone, the groundhog has lied, really now when does Spring start? do the Math. just a little over six weeks, I would rather put my trust in God than the groundhog. I read today where someone was printing their own self will bible, from a feminist point of view. What they are saying is I dont believe in the Bible thathas been handed down to me so I will change it to fit my will, secular humanism, man is the higher power, and I am at liberty to do my own thing. I dont cater to those who think the old Saints who gave their hard earned money, time, talents to keep the Church going, who prayed without ceasing for souls, and were faithful till death, they didnt proselyte, other Churchs members they won new ones to the Lord, they believed Holiness to be Gods standard of living, and Prayer and Praise was required. They didnt try to change Gods Word they accepted it at face value. I am not against having fun and enjoying life, one dont have to beat you over the head, with a Bible; all you have to do is live the life, Can people see Christ in your daily walk, You may find that when you quit listing to everyone elses comments on how you should live your life, and what you should believe, things would go a lot better. When I first started serving God, I tried to mimic certain preachers or preach their message till God spoke to my heart.His response was I called you to be you to be you, not someone else, love my people, preach the Word, not your ideas, remember the scriptures that you have been taught from a child, and stand ye in the way wherein is the old way and see, seek ye out the old paths and walk therein With that being said, I am proud of my Baptist heritage, tho now a Minister with the Church of God, I have never drifted from my roots, the people that taught me as a Child left a mark on my life, and gave me the Word of God. The Word has kept me these 69 + years, no new revelation, or new Bible will ever change me. Remember the Word says not to change one jot or tittle . Everyone is entitled to their own belief, I wont respond if you want to argue, I have more to do with Gods time than argue. I will leave you with this thought: In the last days men shall be lovers of themselves, changing the Truth of God into a lie, from such turn away
