Well Vinny had his surgery today just before 1pm....At 4 he was in my arms going home with me...I can take the wrap off in 24 hrs, his drain comes out Monday and his staples out in 2 weeks.....I appreciate you all preparing me for this...I cried too when I saw him and tonight he is going from place trying to find a comfy spot and moans....I feel so bad for him...He stands and just hangs his head down....I cry thinking i am not doing whats right for him... So for new yrs we are home together trying to get him adjusted and comfy....I hope its just the anesthetic wearing on him...All his nerves were removed as well as his shoulder so the vet said he really shouldnt feel much in a few days.... I ordered the ruffwear harness but realized when he got home it is going to be too big...He seems to navigate alright but i will send it back and still get the correct size...I am emotionally drained and i didnt sleep last night....I doubt I will see midnight....
