Well...a few comments: A discussion with little substance? I had hoped Sarah would do better. Her: 1) Conclusions appear based on a few of the facts rather than analysis of all the facts. For example, It has been said that US tax money and influence was probably used to stir the uprsing in Ukraine, which is probably true considering the recent uprisings of the old Ottoman Empire (rash of Muslim uprisings taking over govts in the mideast) that according to a cadre of facts we know were also probably financed by the US. Putin probably knows the Ukraine Uprising was likely financed and encouraged by US, and from his perspective this is the US In His Face, ie. like daring him to do something...after we have all watched the Arab springs in the last few years. (i.e like a set-up for him to be the fall guy.) What would you think? Importantly: 2) Secondly, facts of the recent situation are different than any in history. For one, America has never had a president with Muslim pantings, who is probably a Muslin in Christian clothing. Additonally, it is believed Russia not to have had a Christian leader since the 1917 Communist Revolution in Russia. Leaders of the US and Russia may have switched a bit, and we of the US and world dont know what to do with this information, even in the face of seeing it. What if Putin has gone through a genuine Christian Conversion as he stated in his Press Conference a few weeks ago standing next to a Russian Orthodox Priest? What if Obama really is a Muslim? Watching Putin the last year has shown signs of change within his personage, as has Obama while weve watched him support Muslims around the world more than Christians. In recent years, Putins administration reflects a change in direction of leadership, moving away from very distant influence of Russian Czars, and has been moving away from Communist principles toward free marketing principles.. Last.. (this time): We cant ignore the obvious question. Is this a Set-Up for Obama to Win One at Putins expense!?... while he slips in another anti-Christian regime? This is the part that remains most concerning, and no one seems to be addressing it. Another concern reflects that Palin seems conclusory in many of her statements. (Full Disclosure: I really want a Conservative Christian woman to be our First Woman President. Regrettably, it appears to be a huge uphill goal for her.)
