Well,... after 2 weeks of being on the ground (weather and schedules), I had an opportunity to fly again. Flight #3 in the book... not quite as planned though. Supposed to be able to enjoy this awesome evening and fly high, to do some turning practice and D-line turn practice. However,... a military Huey Cobra thought it was fun to fly over us, repeatedly,... finally, we thought we had a window that he was gone and we setup to fly. Oh,.. hes back,... see video. (some language at the end) Forward attempt #4 wasnt so great. Somehow ended up with my cage netting catching the tip of the prop, just enough to slice two squares. No damage to prop, but I have to fix the net. Lesson,... fix temporarily before leaving to drive home. By the time I got home, it unraveled nearly 1/4 of my frame. So,.. got some work to do before my next flight.
