Well, after a month of hell physically, Im having a decent week. Given that I cant count on these improvements for long, I cant embark on any major projects in civil liberties yet. (I still have faith Ill be able to do that: I plan on it.) Meanwhile, however, I can do small things, manageable things, person to person, stranger to stranger, pay it forward kinds of things, while I am still so ill. YOU all made a big difference in my life, and you have compelled me to give back when and how I can. There are two things that Im working on right now, one critical, the other meaningful, and if you could help with either one, please message me and let me know: 1. Getting either a temporary vehicle, or preferably a wheelchair accessible van to a woman in Utah, Who struggles with severe, crippling rheumatoid arthritis. While getting multiple surgeries in order to prepare for a life that will very likely include losing her feet, she was in a car accident and her vehicle was totaled. She is in complete despair and it is up to us, strangers, to help her... This womans story is truly difficult to behold, and anything we can do to alleviate some of what she is going through will make a BIG difference in her life. Suffice it to say that I met this man in front of the shiny, new, glass walled Apple Store – where super cool workers are paid next to minimum-wage, and where people are lining up and camping out to get the new iPhone 6 tomorrow. How about, in the face of this mind-boggling contradictions, we get a woman a vehicle and a man a pair of shoes? Whos game? Love you all:).
