Well another day in the hospital and more time spent in the Gods presence. As i have been here each day there have been different limitations. From my limited breathing, to limited movement due to pain and iv, to limits on what i can eat. As i laid here last night God began once again to bring a new revelation to me. I thought about all of the limits we put on God. The limits we put on His ability to move. Were so convinced that Gods ability to move is affected by our surroundings/situations. The lighting has to be right, and the song has to be one we know, and the right singers on stage, and the music has to be perfect, and the right peoplr have to be by us, and the lidt goes on. It shows how pathetically shallow our worship is. We Worship too Simply. Our worship should not be confined to our words or the ability to lift our hands. Or the music being perfect, or lighting, or any of that. People always say, Well I dont like it when people shout during worship OR I want to experience freedom in worship. Listen if we truly get a vision of how big God is, its a distraction. Well its a distraction because your worship is pathetically shallow and youre worried about the person next to you. Were so concerned with being church people instead of being Jesus people. I challenge you all to truly get in Gods presence and be free. Allow Him to take you to difficult places so that He can shape you to look more like Him. Finally i leave you with this quote from a great pastor friend of mine... where the Spirit of the Lord is there ia freedom; where the efforts of man are there is more bondage.
