Well another track has shut its doors here in Oklahoma. Elk City Speedway now is nothing more than a thing in the past. Could this be temporary or will this be permanent? Who knows! I can tell you that the Elk City owned track is up for grabs and needs to be leased ASAP. What does this mean for our tracks? this means Oklahoma has 3 dirt tracks that are just sitting and there are several reasons why. Racing has gotten out of control as the cost keep going up, everyone is going sanctioned rules. Its always about money, well to me its about the fun. I really think its time for a change!!!
