Well bad news at the rheumatologist today. As suspected Marissas arthritis is flaring up and her fibromyalgia is still flaring. The arthritis is gone into her back now too (basically the only place she didnt have it) and she gets to add 2 New medications to her already long list. Her doctor did prescribe aquatic physical therapy which will hopefully help, of course who know how much that will cost. She also recommended massage therapy. Lucky for us we have a massage therapist in our house. Im not trying to complain. I try not to make an issue of it. This is her life and she deals with it pretty well. My children have not had much luck with their health but they are surviving and it could always be way worse. I see do many kids suffering so much whose which is why I dont usually complain. It just sucks sometime watching your child suffer but it does not define her. I also see so many parents making the illness their childs whole life and we refuse to do that. We have always said to her illnesses are part of who she is but not who she is. Ok really done now. Just needed to vent I guess.
