Well be holding FREE pre-screenings of National Geographics Inside Combat Rescue: The #LastStand the week of June 9-14. This two-hour special is a DoD and Air Force-supported show featuring efforts inside Afghanistan - including the pararescue operations of our own 56th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron. The first two screenings are by invite only and designated for the 56th RQS and others involved in our January tragedy. All other screenings are open to the base populace. Monday, June 9 at 1 p.m. - Screening limited to only 56th RQS, 748th Aircraft Maintenance Squadrons Helicopter Maintenance Unit Airmen and their families. Tuesday, June 10 at 4 p.m. - Screening limited to only 48th Operations Group and Jolly 22 first responders. Wednesday, June 11 at 8 a.m., 11 a.m., and 4 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at 8 a.m., 11 a.m., and 4 p.m. Friday, June 13 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at 11 a.m. While concessions will not be available during these pre-screenings, you are welcome to bring your own refreshments. Please remember to respect our base theatre and keep it clean.
