Well be prayer walking or prayer riding sometime this week in our areas of influence. Join us by praying through a geographic area that you routinely visit. Entry-point 2: Prayer walk (or drive for those unable to walk very far) in neighborhoods and business districts around the city. What is prayer walking? As I like to put it: “Prayer walking is simply an ‘insurgent’ or ‘insurgency’ team of Christian people going out to the streets of their city to strategically pray and proclaim God’s Word with all boldness over the city!” You are simply asking for God’s kingdom to come in the parts of the city where you are walking and praying. • Choose a time in the next few days to walk the blocks near your house or place of employment or the routine places you visit. Invite God to help you notice and pray for people, institutions, businesses, and public areas. • As you walk, ask yourself the question, “What would it look like for this street/district/neighborhood to flourish and come alive for God?” • Pray for God to bring grace, justice, peace, and renewal to your neighborhood and city.
