Well, by now all my friends and family know about my love of and fascination with BUTTER! I cant help it....I love it. Its been about 30 years since I churned butter in a gallon jar by rocking it on my knee....well guess what?! Dad and I made the trip to Trimble Farms near Hawkins, TX. They have a wonderful herd of grass fed pure jersey cows and sell milk. There is none richer. I bought two gallons and the milk had about 4 inches of cream. Today I finally got up the nerve to dive in. I separated the cream from the milk and set it out to come to room temp, then in the jar it went. What can I say? Theres nothing that compares to home-churned sweet creamy BUTTER!!!
