Well, did a sample paper from one of the courses I want to take. As much as I love the subject matter [transit and urban planning], I had forgotten how much work even a short paper about a well known issue in same can be. The good news is that having lived in NYC, there is the advantage of understanding the nature of WHY some parts were getting the renewals and others were being left on the scrap heap...like the cars in the scrap yards a few miles south of the IRT New Lots Yards in Brooklyn.
