Well, everything is all set. I was sweating out the Visa reaching me in time but it arrived this morning. I leave JFK in NY at 3:35pm. Of course this is after a two hour train from New London, CT to NYC, then a shuttle to the airport. After that its a leisurely 15 hour flight watching Chinese movies that I dont understand, and land in Shanghai..go to the hotel I booked for two days, find an apartment during that time, and set up camp. Still a lot of crap to do in the next couple of days though. I have to find a place to board my parrot for 3 months..ugh! Wanted to take her..but theres paperwork involved that takes a month.
