Well folks I havent been driving my NYG for nearly 2 years now, because it began smoking oil after a couple hundred miles into the new build. I thought it was a head issue...but today I decided to take a peak inside the TB opening, and I found a pool of oil in my lower plenum. This has got to be where the oil smoke is coming from. Ryan and Mario both told me that the PCV system cant keep up with my high compression engine, and is just overrunning the valve with oil. They both recommended a catch can. Its my understanding that a cheap one is just as good as the expensive ones...with some easy/simple improvements/mods to them. Which ones do you guys recommend? Id love to start driving this thing again. Sooo much $$$$ into this engine build to just watch it sit in the driveway and not move anywhere. Thanks for the help in advance!
