Well folks, here are the latest updates: As a reminder, we have given notice to the Port that we will be vacating the building, provisionally in September or October. The Board continues to examine options and opportunities going ahead. Two Port Commissioners have shown interest in discussing options, and we will make a visit to La Connor and Anacortes to hold discussions. The Anchor Search will continue. In the meantime, we will be downsizing, returning loaned items, returning some donations, and identifying other items for storage, pending selection of any potential new, permanent, locations, while preparing to sell selective, larger items from the museum exhibits. Included will be the PACV Hovercraft which is being considered by a museum in Michigan, and 31RP7210 which will be advertised in the range of $20,000. The Lynden Pioneer Museum is taking 31RP6615, our earliest MK I PBR. The Uniflite built Multnomah County Sheriffs boat will be shown to an interested party on Saturday (asking $19,500), and otherwise we will moor it down at Terry Buzzards, to show. Also the Motor Whaleboat is for sale for $5000, or $7500 when the motor is up and running at which time we have an interested potential buyer. Our wooden boat hull is available for provisionally $475. Other items will be listed as we move ahead. Saturday is our final Radio Controlled and Scale Model Boat Show at 800 Cornwall. Bring the kids & grandkids and let your friends and family know!
