Well folks, today starts the big Mineral mountain camping/ rock hounding trip!! Were drinking our coffee and packing everything up.. last chance for directions if you need them!! If you know how to get there keep an eye for the Batcho group signs that will be hung on the BLM trail markers.. PLEASE REMEMBER TO PACK FOR COLD WEATHER!! I cant stress enough that when the sun is not in the sky above, it will be cold!! There are 3 fire pits at the site were looking to stay at and I will gather as much wood as I can but may need some assistance gathering more as more people show up.. Dont forget protective eye wear, I have some extras but not enough for everyone.. while we are all going for a good time I strongly emphasize safety first!!!! There will be small children and pets there so please respect my only rule of safety first. We should be on the road about 9:30 ish and will soon after lose phone reception, so contact me as soon as possible if you need directions! The site is Rock Corral-Ranch Canyon Recreation Area, Mineral Mountains, Milford Utah (Beaver County). Follow the dirt road and stay to the left of the trail markers.. youll come to a bathroom on the road..thats where well be!!
