Well friends and family, Adventures of the very best sorts took place this weekend. In good company there were several merry gathering s. There was travel that went over the mountain, under a mountain through a mountain and along the rivers and forests to the ocean. A big cat exhibit allowed for the chance to hear a mountain lion purr and then cry out a low scream that froze my blood to jelly with a wary respect and a certain admiration for the handler. Petting a baby snow leopard was definitely a high light. Getting through the city was a challenge but even though fear wasn’t totally conquered we made it through those streets with only a moderate internal spaz out on my part. Once past the populated areas it was nice to be able to run on the beach with the waves until the excess adrenaline mellowed out. I might edit all this tomorrow to be more flowery but I hope you all had equally fun and fulfilling days. I noticed a lot of you posted pictures with your families and little ones and it made me smile to see so many of you doing so well. Though I’ve got to tell you being away for just a few days made the newsfeed blow up like I fell off the edge of the world. Must be a good indicator of being a facebook junkie. So for the following week I am going to try and limit my intake of social media to focus on work and school. I love you all and wish the best for the health and happiness for you and yours.
