Well friends the scan results are in and they arent very good. Everything is larger and more active with some new spots as well just to make it interesting. Additionally one of my kidneys is stressed because of tumor pushing on one of my ureter. So its back to the drawing board... tomorrow I will have a procedure to place stents in my ureters which is sure to be lots of fun (because when has someone shoving lots of tubes in and out of your urethra not been fun? at least I wont be awake for it) Assuming that all goes as planned we will start a new chemo on Monday which hopefully is able to get some better results. Obviously this was not the sort of results we were hoping for. Getting tubes and the uncertainty of new chemo is going to present a new set of challenges but like everything up till now I will be taking it one day at a time and trusting the rest to The Lord. I dont know what tomorrow will be like much less this summer or my long term future and neither do my doctors but He does and the rest of us will find out eventually. Please keep both my family and I in your prayers especially my procedure tomorrow and chemo next week. Its going to be an adventure and Ill take all the companions I can get. No promises on the destination but Ill try to keep the journey entertaining. Hopefully by this time tomorrow stents will be in and I wont be peeing blood...
