Well friends, we have been very busy over the last few months. As many of you know we have been property hunting in various Denver neighborhoods. This property hunt has been a long and frustrating one to say the least, as we have been on the verge of signing a couple of leases during this time. In the last half year, we have decided to step away from deals and lost out on others, and in one case, the landlord decided to sell the property while the paperwork was being finalized. In addition, our search was made no easier by the fact that we are very tough to please. Nonetheless, we continued the hunt... Today this pursuit came to an exciting conclusion when our owners/brewers Brennan Mann and Spencer OBryan signed the lease for Fermæntras new home. Thats right ladies and gentleman, we have a brick and mortar location to call our own! Our brewerys address is 1715 East Evans Avenue in Denver, just two blocks away from the University of Denver campus. We dont believe there are words to adequately describe our excitement, as this excitement stems from not only achieving a milestone, but also being able to open a brewery in a neighborhood that we sought out from the very beginning. Early on in our business planning we determined that the DU neighborhood was exactly where we wanted to open our brewery. With great persistence and the help from our super broker, Forrest Bassett, we were able to achieve our goal. We are very excited to be a part of this historic neighborhood. Now we must begin construction. We have a lot of work ahead of us and cannot wait to get started. We will post progress reports as much as possible along with photos of our new location. Thanks to all of you who have supported our dream and helped us make this dream into a reality. Without the support of our family and friends and their encouragement to pursue this brewery, we would still be dreaming about doing this while brewing beer in our garages.
