Well friends—today I start a new chapter in my life—retirement!!! I will surely miss my friends and co-workers at Wegmans. There are so many people I would like to thank Lisa Pavan Ruplin–thank you for making my last day so special-arranging for the cake, flowers and balloons was just overwhelming-great job!! Tara Ricci–thank you for being you and for the flowers and cupcakes!!! You are one special lady! Your compassion and understanding will take you far!! Chris Figueroa- thank you for the wine!! Will really enjoy having this now that I do not have to get up at 5am anymore!! Kaitlyn Little Bear Landon-my café-daughter—thank you for the flowers—to see how happy you are now warms my heart You are a good frriend and I wish you all the best in your wedding plans!! Christine Ann Ramirez thank you for being my side register worker on my last day–-your laughter and smile always made my day fun; Gus Rodriguez-my very last front end manager-- thank you for letting all my co-workers come into your office to have cake and wish me well-your smile said it all!! Thanks to my very first front end manager Evan Coy–now I can come down to Ocean and say hello!!! To my non-Facebook friends (yes people, there are some people that do not do Facebook and are NOT addicted to Candy Crush) that I would like to take the time to thank—Nancy from the baker for her flowers-you work so hard-I wish you all the best and hope retirement will be in your future real soon; Maryann from the front end-your balloon let all my customers know I was leaving-thank you—and keep talking; and my REGULAR and LOYAL CUSTOMERS-both young and old-I will miss you all. From the little boy that wanted me to eat lunch with him to the old man who called me his angel when I gave him a few pennies from my penny cup –these people will remain in my heart!!! And finally I need to thank my life partner, my friend my lover, my wonderful husband-without his love and hard work-this day would not have been possible!! A new day starts today!! Wish me luck!!!
