A policeman who was shot in the face in Klamath Falls is in serious condition at OHSU in Portland. Shooter, in an old black Jeep Cherokee, is still at large. This could put a few hundred dollars in your pocket...Oregon taxpayers might get a rebate check because of growing state income tax revenue thats very close to exceeding projections, thus triggering the famous (or infamous, to some) kicker. Theres a plan in the works to redo Lloyd Center in a way that will shrink the ice skating rink. Skaters and kids are really unhappy about it. Somebody stole an SUV in Seattle with a baby on board. The vehicle was found , parked but running, with the baby inside, 20 minutes later. But the car was in gear and it started rolling. A lady jumped in and stopped it. Thief caught later. Hero to zero: USC cornerback Josh Shaw made up the story about jumping off a balcony to rescue his nephew. So thats whats up so far. College football on TV tonight. MLB playoff races getting serious. Mariners still ahead of the Tigers, after both lost yesterday. Labor Day weekend is two short days away. Good times! Join us on 103.3...and hop on here to let me know youre out there! By the way, Happy birthday to Shania Twain! Ive loved her music ever since Any Man of Mine woke me up from a sound sleep while I was listening in the night to a country station in Denver.
