Well, got a gig on the 12th and 20th of July down `round New Orleans, also a couple guys wanna gig in Mobile in two weeks an I made contact with a National recording artist, Ernest Stanley, AKA "Stan The Blues Man" who heard me checking out an amp down in Pensacola,FL at Blue Angel Music and approached me to ask if I would like to hook up because his guitar player was out due to health issues. I`d never heard of the guy, surprise, surprise since I live in Laurel, but anyway the guy has performed with Wilson Pickett, B.B.King, Tina Turner, Fats Domino, Bobby Blue Bland, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, and freakin` James Brown!!along with many others. He has at least 3 albums, I think, and plays harp, and sax and of course sings. Not bad for a Jones Countian on a two day trip down south and 45 minutes of playin` and singin`. This is only the beginning.....Thank you God. And, Thank you Scott. You are a huge help, mentally, and a hell of a guitar tech. Hang in there bud, it won`t be long. Thanks Christy also for lettin` me hang and thanks in advance for the next times as well, hehehehe.... I humbly admit that I need all the help and support that I can get with places to stay when I`m out of town..... you guys hear that over there in the Big Easy???...LOL!! Hopefully this doctor will let me off the leash. I could have went to a studio in Memphis this evening and did a few sessions over the next few days if I was released from this burden of doctors and insurance companies. 60K and I`m done with it. Bright side,....It won`t be long....God willing...
