Well got out to vote - wow it was quite a line up at the returning office. I voted outside of my district so there was paper work and then 3 envelopes to seal & secure my vote before Ii could place it in the ballot box Not very environmentally friendly - nor very cost effective. I kept thinking about how much each envelope costs and how a many envelopes it would take to move someone out of homelessness, or feed a hungry child , or help a senior or a young family who is struggling to pay a power bill or put oil in their tank for the winter months. Waste not want not my mother used to say!
