Well guys, no one can say we dont know how to party. The first - TopicsExpress

Well guys, no one can say we dont know how to party. The first annual Heart City Reunion Jam was one of the best gigs Ive ever played. Right from the start I knew it was going to be special. From the opening chords to the end of the night, everyone played their hearts out. Our Hall of Fame honorees, The Tempests, played a few tunes and just kicked butt. It made me feel like I was 14 again and watching them at the tennis courts at Pierre Moran park. All the kids in the neighborhood knew it was Tempest Time when they heard Bobby Els thunderous bass playing in the distance. We would hop on our bikes and meet up at the park. Wow, they were good-they were real good, then and now! Rock on, Tempests! Got to say something about the younger ones too. Cory Huff, Jeffs son, and Rachel Bessmer, Jims daughter, tore the house down during their sets. So talented, the both of them. So, the first Musicians Club event was just fantastic, but there will be more to come. My thanks go out to each and everyone of you for everything. You reminded me how proud I am to be one of the musicians from Elkhart.
