Well guys, you had to know that I would be back at some point to talk politics. Sorry, its my nature. Oprah is a power to be reckoned with. She is an astute business woman, a great entertainer, a caring person with many charities to her list of things to do. However, the remark about Obamas presidency being fraught with racism, is ludicrous. She did not use the word fraught so I am not quoting her at all. However, her comment about existing problems in Washington were very possibly due to Obama being African American, is ludicrous. The man was elected twice. Yes, he has been given a hard time by the republicans. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS IN POLITICS !! Democrats are under fire by the republicans and republicans being under fire by the democrats, thats just the way it is. It should not be that way but it is. We should have the parties working together for the good of the people but it isnt happening. As for someone heckling him during his speech, totally wrong, but he isnt the only president that has had to deal with this sort of thing. He wont be the last. Okay, Oprah and Obama, you just need to get over it. Quit playing the race card and trying to stir the pot more than it is. There is racism in this country. I dont deny it. However, it goes both ways. White on black AND black on white. I am not excluding other ethnic groups.
