Well having a new bathroom is ok - except its bloody dangerous :-( We used to have a corner bath but they wouldnt let us fit another when renewing - so put in the biggest straight bath they could for the room. Except it is so friggin slippery and there is only a slider rail where our other shower had the bar type so nothing to hold onto. I feel claustrophobic in the shower with the shower curtain around anyway but u have to sit down in the bath to wash ur feet because it is so slippy. Then unless u get on ur knees u cant get back up and then precariously. Today I have slipped despite a new bath mat from Tescos - which doesnt stick to the bath properly and hurt my wrist while in the shower. Righted myself and then went to get out of the bath - lifted one leg to get out n the bath mat slid and I ended up ass over tit out off the bath n hurt my other wrist n right leg n left toes as I landed on the floor in a snotty heap. Luckily going the opposite way to the sink so I avoided cracking my head on anything. So Tescos can have their stupid bath mat back that doesnt stick and I have banned everyone from using the bath/shower until I can get a decent old type long rubber bath mat, before someone kills themself!! I am even considering a disability bath seat or something to sit n do feet etc if that doesnt work cos its ridiculous!!
