Well, hell of a week this has been. Thank God tomorrows Friday. Yes, for me it is. Last week, had two Fridays in a row on account of the holidays. Kel had to work the first Friday so I went to the lake to fish. When I unloaded the boat and pulled into the courtesy dock and grabbed a pole the stop. Tweaked my elbow. Hurt a bit, but since I was on the water I went fishing anyway. Caught a few fish, but nothing to brag about. Actually, woulda made good trot line bait if it werent illegal. Posted a couple pics noting how great it was. Then around 1:30, got tired of feeding the little ones so I headed in. When I pulled up to the courtesy dock, I didnt realize my earlier attempt had done more damage than I thought, so when I grabbed the pole again, I was going much faster cuz I didnt have the strength to put it in reverse fast enuff. Instead of a pop I heard the first time, I felt pain to the point I almost cried. Didnt know how I was going to get the boat on the trailer, but I managed after a few minutes of gathering myself. So I lived through the weekend, some days with my arm in a sling that the ER nurse gave me. Called the doc on Monday to schedule my MRI for my right elbow. To top that off, I did something yesterday that appears to have moved a rib to where it does not belong. Breathing today has been an adventure to say the least. So, I have filled the jet tub in hoped to relax and put the rib back in place so I can concentrate on my MRI on Friday. Its scheduled for 7:00am, so I went ahead and took the whole day off. Damn! Hope it all goes well.
