Well here is where we are at: There is a place called river highlands ranch, we both love it. It is available Friday October 2nd, for 8 hours, that includes set up, decoration, and rehearsal. (There is option for lodging there for an additional cost). As far as the wedding day (October 3rd) we can get there at 9am for set up, and everyone closes down at 1030pm (allows for clean up time after) they provide a bridal suit to get ready in, bathrooms, the tables and chairs, etc. They do some decorating as well as I worked with them to let me decorate how I want too. The only problem we are running into is that we want sort of a BBQ themed dinner, and at that they require a licensed caterer to do the event. Therefore, for the amount of people (around 200) catering is looking at 3,000 + dollars. Which with the venue itself along with food is already close to 10,000$ and thats INSANE! We want a barn-ish country feel. Venues are out if control pricy, and I know it seems crazy- but they are already booking up for next year.
