Well here it is my last day working for The National Trust here at Nymans. I loved working here but all the values and princials have changed, I have been given 4 menues a year , central buying, the ideas lof local and seasonal are all out the window. Now frozen bread, no local baker, frozen fish , no fish monger, frozen meat ,no butcher.I have gone from a chef into a bag slashing ,tin opening ,de froster and jacket potato filler! Any body who nows me as a chef will know tha is not what I stand for. Therefor bye bye. I feel every thing I have worked for in the past fey years has been a total waste of time and effort and feel quite gutted about it.
