Well, heres a little story I got to tell...and definitely check out the link...theres a video and a whole lotta text to read... Anyway, driving in Illinois today, I was pulled over again for driving with California plates...He said speeding however, we were in the slow lane and being passed by multiple cars. He had probably been following us since the toll booth a mile before. He did the usual license and registration, and offering to give us a warning once he ran our IDs routine. After grilling my buddy and I both rather extensively, to make sure our stories fit, and asking me about exactly one year ago when I was pulled over in Illinois for speeding, again, I was NOT speeding, however, I did have California plates that time too. I told him that I had had 1 gram of weed and the officers made me stomp it into the asphalt, and have given me a warning. Now he asked the important question, If I were to bring a K9 would he find anything. I told him, You just might, as the car is from California and I have a prescription. He asked if I had it on me, and I said of course. I also told him I was going to meet with my accountant and that I didnt really have time to deal with this...that actually worked, and he said, Im not gonna do that, youre free to go.
