Well, how to sum up Monster In The Closet? It has all the ingredients to make a pretty good 80s sandwich. Unfortunately it does fall a bit flat and not have that charm weve become accustomed to with that decade. The opening 15mins we see an 8 year old Fergie from the black eyed peas walking round with a suspicious looking milk tash...its ok though because she gets eaten and seems to be made of jumpers. Then its the will they, wont they between our hero Donald Grant and a baby Paul Walker which is fantastic! Then about an hour of mumbo jumbo script that isnt easy to decipher. The finale is the running part from Forest Gump all the way to San Fran, where to the monsters horror all the closets have been destroyed! Thus stripping him of his powers and pounding on him till he crumbles. Henry Gibson was brilliant and thats the bottom line. If you like shit films....5/10 imdb/title/tt0091544/
