Well..i still cant do it..still cant get thru a thanksgiving day without tears flowing . 8 years ago Thanksgiving day, I realized my mom would not be with us much longer ..she was so sick with cancer and passed 34 days later..Thanksgiving was always a big thing for my mom. she loved the presentation, fancy dishes and trying out new macrobiotic or vegan dishes that we would all ultimately turn our nose up to..seeking the all to unhealthy berry and nut free alternatives..She loves making Michael Neill stay at the table until he attempted to eat his vegetables.......so its a hard time for me, I get through, I am thankful..Today is my best since...i got to hit that mom milestone and visit my own kids house as he hosted thanksgiving!!! Mariana Kerr and Auggie made my day so happy (although my plan was to wait on Mariana hand n foot..lol she had not had a day off in over 2 months sue to her new executive chef position) ) ..and to top off the greatness Joseph Carlson and mama soon to be again..Nevine came over and brought even another New family member to us..her awesome brother Omar..1 big huge beautiful family! Icing on the cake 2 sweet little angels toddling around together making memories of their own lol...and even toped it off with my dad standing and adding a speech or prayer giving thanks to God for my children and grandchildren..so special as he has Parkinons..standing and publically speaking is a huge challenge for him..so, yes I am thankful and yes I know beyond a doubt that Perrye Jane was watching all of us today..still upset that Mikes not eating his veggies...I love my family beyond belief....Thank you God for all my blessings.
