Well, if Alan Fitts wont post about it, I will! His birthday was today and I ordered the Hobby King Quanum Complete FPV Bundle for his birthday (and threw in a Mobius for myself). It arrived Friday - just in time for his Birthday. We spent most of Friday evening getting it assembled and set up on his 250. Getting the camera mounted in his quad was a challenge. The Tx antenna is a straight connector while the Rx antenna is a 90 degree connector which seems backwards to me. Im going to order an antenna extension cable to prevent the connector breaking off the board like Brandon and Matt have experienced. And we sometimes have an issue where there is no video even though everything is on. We have to unplug and replug everything in again until we get a video signal. I dont know yet if that is user error, a quirk of the system we havent figured out yet (power on order or timing?), or a problem. But, this is not a bad system at all. The transmitter and receiver are both 32 channels. The transmitter is very small. I like the view in the goggles - its a very large view. The camera may be the first thing to be upgraded - or at least a replacement lens installed. The FOV is a little narrow and a lens with a wider FOV would be an improvement. But for the money, this is pretty impressive. At 1/5th the cost, or less, of a FatShark system, I cant complain at all.
