Well if the maps are to tell the story and didnt change Monday night could be the night for snow in CHCH city. The isobar lines are going direct to the Antarctic with some reasonable moisture which should see snow in the city. Temps will be cold enough going also by the maps. So keep your fingers crossed people who want to see snow in the city. I will put a map up for you guys to see. Another thing that will help with the chances for the city getting snow is also from Sunday night i expect snow to about 300m and that to continue through Monday where the snow should pick up a bit plus the temp should drop quite easily as it will only be sitting around 5deg in town maybe less i dont expect the temp to get above 6deg all day for the city. Tommorow expect the remaining snow showers to ease up and become confined to the coast. The next few days look slightly warmer but not by much at all. They should be dry with good frosts likely.
