Well in the fog of my own little war of completing a hard days work and struggling to get out of there in time for dinner at home, I stumbled across Glenns post elsewhere here, and wound up commenting without fully understanding the background noise. I still stand by my comments. But I perhaps need to do more reading / research / inquiry before jumping in. Im not sure what all happened today. Not even sure I care. All I know is that there is WAY TOO MUCH STRIFE within this brotherhood that I LOVE and that MEANS SO MUCH TOO ME !!! Were the Facebook submariner groups (in aggregate) a boat.... shed never put to sea. But on the boat, we took care of problems straightforwardly, in a hurry, and face to face... often under the oversight of a peer or Chief. Here in cyberspace we dont have that luxury, and way too many of us have gotten the mistaken notion that it is our RIGHT to hide behind the relative anonymity of this LCD monitor and hurl abuses at will. Im sick to death of it. Why cant we all just conduct ourselves in such a way as to represent this brotherhood with honor and dignity?
