Well it couldnt have been much closer. Heading into the finals last evening at Pete Henry Gymnasium Lex and Fremont Ross stood deadlocked at 179 points each. The Little Giants had 9 in the placement round and Big Lex had 8. Based on 3 championship round wins and a big win by pin in the consolations Lex nipped Ross by 2.5 points to secure a 4th straight Gorman title and an 8th title in the previous 9 years. I am extremely proud of the 8 seniors who made the podium tonight who in some way each had a hand in winning the title in all four years of taking part with the program.
