Well it has been quite the ride this week (both metaphorically and literally). My grandsons lost one of their best friends to a traffic accident between a motor cycle and several cars.Young Benjamin Posey was more than just an excellent rider ( who was wearing all the proper equipment at the time of this tragic and untimely death). He was also everything a parent could hope for in a son : loving, funny, sensitive, hard working, polite, respectful and positive for his future. My grandsons usually show good judgement of character...this was one of those times. My middle grandson Devon Christopher Boudreau and his beautiful Taylor will be having a firecracker baby this upcoming July. As Devon was saying his final good bye to his friend Benjamin he let his friend know he would always be here with him because Devon was going to change the babys name from Noah Christopher to Noah Benjamin Boudreau. ..you see in so many ways they were the best of friends. So Ben lives on in the name of a new born, in a sharing friendship between himself and my grandson and in the four people that his harvested organs will give another chance at life. Yesterday my third grandson Greyson John Boudreau tossed his graduation cap into the air and now turns his attentions and efforts to U. of F. in Gville. So here is to Youth.... Its sense of indestructibility but also its fragility. It can all be gone so quickly but it can also endure.
