Well it is RRT home track race this Labor Day Long Weekend. With two RRT Mazda RX7’s in the EIP class, we stand good chances for some podium finishes. Jeff Remfert and Chris McIntire will be pushing the RX7’s to the max so they can accumulate as many points as possible this weekend. Heading into this weekend, Jeff is leading EIP class as of ICSCC Race #9 at 152 points. Darren Dilley is just 4 points behind at 148 points in a RRT prepped Mazda RX2. Should be some awesome racing! Mike Carrick on the other hand will be testing the modified Mazda RX3 on Fridays practice day. The RX3 has had some serious changes done to the brakes and suspension so we are sure there will be some adjustments. If testing goes well the car will be entered into one of the GT3 race.
