Well it was a short night last night & kept it simple.A friend & I met at Texas Station to see the band Yellow Brick Road (YBR). The venue was a great place to watch a show & right now has Crossfire w/ Drew Hart on Fridays & YBR on Saturdays. The band put on an awesome show of continuous hits one after the next for 2 + straight hrs! They went through an array of songs from bands like Boston,Queen.Led Zeppelin,Van Halen,AC/DC,Phil Collins,Pink Floyd & the list goes on. Great vocals,drums,guitars & keyboards all combining a sound together that made it a show that was not only fun but had the crowd dancing from beginning to end! Oh yea! And I being a sax player myself got to see a little sax back in rock again & the keyboard player not only played the sax & guitar as well,he pulled out an electric Violin & treated us along with the band to an almost heavy metal version of Charlie Daniels Band The Devil Went Down To Georgia!! Awesome show & would recommend anyone coming in from L.A., the cold states. or locals that are around next weekend or as lomg as they are there to catch a show! You wont be disappointed!
