Well, it was another hot one on Fayette County Lake on Saturday at the CCKF 2 Man Team Mystery Lake Jackpot. First Cast was at 4:00 am and Weigh-In was at Noon. We held registration at Park Prairie Launch Ramp and had 17 teams register. With 17 teams and everybody in for Big Bass, we were due to payout a lot of money! After a long hard struggle, in the extreme, triple digit heat, the results were in. Defending Fayette Champs, Chris Coufal and Dustin Barron, took 1st with a 120” stringer. Their hard work allowed for them to take home Sunglasses from Smith Optics, Hook1 Swag, and $1,130! Daniel Peters and Steve Garcia, pull up real close to take 2nd Place with a stringer measuring 118.25”, which rewarded them each with a great pair of Smith Optics, and $323. Securing 3rd place with a stringer measuring 111.25” was Troy Lawson and Burt Briggs, who won $161, and each a free pair of great sunglasses from Smith Optics. 4th Place was taken by Chris Siebenthaler and Tim Nickels with a stringer of 103”, which provided them with their choice of Powell Fishing Rods. They both chose the infamous 765 Flip’n MAX Series. Justin Ketchum and Paul Wichmann followed very closely with 101.50”, which landed them free reel cleanings from Papa Chops’ Rod and Reel Repair! Lastly, but not least, BIG BASS. Big Bass paid out a whopping $340 and Hook1 Swag, to Michael Lammers, who landed a 22.75” LMB. Thanks to all of our Sponsors, AND ALL OF OUR PARTICIPANTS, I appreciate all of your support AND assistance, when it’s been needed! Thank you to Mike Vanscoy and Lone Star Beer for the cold beverages. It makes a great day of fishing, even better!
