Well, it was like Scarlet Ribbons here this mornin..Id been reet roond the North East lookin for snadgies for the Christmas dinner to nae avail..and woke up to find two of the biggest ones ever, on me kitchen counter! Me lovely daughter had braved Asda at midneet, witnessed some hilarious scenes..one woman, obviously sick o queuein, hoyed her frozen turkey across the floor, followed by her basket o shoppin! Fiona thowt some flamers gettin sausage sarnies for tha Christmas dinner th morrer! Her twin, wor Pete, was askin Fiona what I had been rajitatin for earlier..she explained it was a mam-thing, the day before Christmas Eve annual raj..but that it never continues into Christmas Day. What are we like? Why am I howkin the settee oot for? Whaes ganna look underneath it? And if nae bu**er gets doon on their haunches and checks that the pipe behind me toilets clean enough to eat tha dinner off..Ill be huffed! Ah, but itll be aal worth it, after weve knocked wasels oot puttin that dinner on the table, seen it eaten in five minutes flat...hoyed oot the fowerty fower sproots that didnt get eaten and slump doon on the sofa knaan if old Aunty Mabel faals doon again after too much Advocaat, she waent rise up covered in fluff.
