Well it was one year ago that we received word our daughter Leah Centala was in a snowmobile accident. I remember my heart sinking as my wife told me while my son RJ was wrestling a match that would put him in the finals at the Northern Michigan open...I went from excited dad to worried sick in a matter of seconds....the ride from Gaylord to Alpena in icy conditions, not knowing if she was alive until we got close to Hillman was horrible.Leah spent 6 days in the hospital and another 6 weeks at home recovering from a broken jaw in 2 places, puncture wounds and staples in her head, a severed trigeminal nerve in her face and many bruises ..I thank the Lord that I still have my precious Leah ..she is Beautiful and smart..my world would be so different without her.. hug your children ..they are the greatest gifts we are given..in an instant our lives can change...in am so thankful I was spared the anguish and pain that many parents have felt in losing a child..I share the pain of the recent loss of a young woman that many of you knew..my prayers go out to all who have suffered. I love you Leah !
