Well it wouldnt be Maddie if there wasnt a bit of drama surrounding her! As Tom and Georgia always say Shes our drama queen But.... We are safely back on the ward after some nice vomiting in recovery (love anti nausea meds) and some pain she has now settled into a deep sleep, she has 3 nice neat new scars across her tummy 1- where her Mickey button has been fixed - 2 - where her old port has been removed (ps she asked to keep her old port to add to her collection) and lastly her last one where the new port is situated and then theres the new scar on her neck where the port starts off........ Plan is to leave her sleeping and judge later on how much fluid we are behind and make a plan for topping her up later and to keep her well topped with pain meds (morphine has been chartered) Heres hoping for a lovely settled night.............
