Well, its been a long 7 months of stress and uncertainty from being unemployed, but I can now officially say the journey is over. After being laid off by Kemper Preferred Insurance on January 6, 2014, hundreds of employment applications, handfuls of interviews, and a couple temporary positions, I have finally secured a new full time permanent job with State Farm Insurance in Birmingham, AL. This is truly a blessing and I am so excited about returning to the company where I began my career close to 6 years ago. I plan to take full advantage of this opportunity and make the most out of it each and every day. Effective August 18, I will no longer be out of work!
