Well, its clear that a number of big and public musical statements were made tonight by big artists here in Miami. I find some hilarious, a few whiney, while others - a little confusing. However, the bottom line and lesson to be learned from all of this is: follow what music sounds good to you. Make that decision for yourself. Dont allow the giant machine and the suits that run it to make that decision for you. Music is always more powerful when it connects with you on a personal, and perhaps emotional level. With so many talented artists out there doing it right, you will find the sounds you are destined to love... if you just explore things for yourself and be a little adventurous.
