Well its happened! After several years of resistance (I believe I actually growled at Dr Billingsley once), I have been fitted for...gasp...bifocals! Throw in the fact I turn 50 in two weeks I am ready to run off to a tropical island that is stuck in the 70s! I will take my records, very little cash (as you could buy dinner, movie tickets and a tank of gas for what it cost to fill up now...and maybe a new shirt to go with your double zipper jeans), books (since there are no computers, video games and the tv only picks up 3 channels) and lots of Aqua Net to keep my bangs up high!
