Well, its official - Paul has been given the OK to go back to work on September 29th. Anyone who has been following our journey from the beginning knows that this is nothing short of a miracle. I was being told early on that he may not even be back home by the end of the year, and here he is getting ready to go back to work less than 3 months after the accident. These are the kinds of miracles that happen when you have not only the expertise of so many medical professionals working on your behalf, but the power of love and prayer being lifted up for you by people all over the world. One of the things I have been trying to do during the past few days, is get some of our thank you letters written. I wish I had the time, resources, and information to thank each one of you individually but its just not possible. So please dont be offended about getting a generic group thank you. Everything everyone did for us was greatly appreciated - from the prayers to the visits to the comfort items to the gift cards to the plants to the help at home to the financial assistance - and we are both truly humbled and overwhelmed by your generosity and your love for us. You never truly know how much you mean to someone until youre in a position like this and while it seems totally natural to be assisted by family and close friends, its absolutely amazing to be helped by people you barely know and people youve never met. I could go on and on trying to put our appreciation into words and never really be able to make you understand how much everything youve all done has meant to us. Every single kindness - no matter how big or how how small - has not gone unnoticed, thats for sure. So thank you - for everything - because we know our strong network of friends and prayer angels is what got us where we are today. We love you all from the bottom of our hearts and feel truly blessed to have you in our lives.
